The purpose of this case study is to examine the benefits of using Radio Remote Controls (RRC) on a machine retrieval device through an extraction service – reducing downtime while increasing safety in underground mines when equipment is buried.
PROJECTS
OUR WORK REINVENTS MINING.
We are proud to be the agency of choice and the strategic partner to many hard-working entrepreneurs and community leaders. We aim to inspire and we work for the inspired, for the movers and shakers, for the driven and the passionate. Here’s a taste of what we do.
TELEOP AUTO AND ASSIST FOR AN UNDERGROUND COPPER MINE
The purpose of this case study is to examine the benefits of HARD-LINE’s TeleOp Auto and TeleOp Assist used on an underground LHD at a Pucobre-owned mine in Copiapó, Chile.
RRC SYSTEM FOR THE CLEARING OF ORDNANCE
The purpose of this case study is to examine the benefits of HARD-LINE’s RRC (Radio Remote Control) and Farsight (extended line of sight) technology in its application to an above-ground used-ordnance cleanup project of a military testing field in Calgary, Alberta, completed by Iron Horse Earthworks.
UNDERGROUND MULTI ROCKBREAKERS SNOW LAKE
The purpose of this case study is to examine the benefits of HARD-LINE’s TeleOp system as implemented within TVX New Britannia’s underground processes in Snow Lake, Manitoba.
TELEOP FOR AN OPEN PIT COPPER MINE
TeleOp is adapted to multiple heavy-duty machines of various makes and models to allow workers to go down to greater depths in the open pit at a copper producer’s open pit pilot project in Chile, 2013.
TELEOP & RRC FOR AN OPEN PIT GOLD MINE
TeleOp and Radio Remote Control help avoid hazards of sudden floor collapse to front-line workers due to several historic underground mines below the area in Canada’s largest operating open-pit gold mine in Malartic Quebec, 2012.
TELEOP FOR AN OPEN PIT IRON MINE
TeleOp proves an adaptable and flexible safety solution to freezing temperatures and airborne particulates in a storage barn for a leading iron ore producer in Labrador City Newfoundland, 2015.
TELEOP MULTI FOR AN UNDERGROUND GOLD MINE
TeleOp Multi increase productivity safely by allowing operators to control 6 LHDs, a locomotive, and a rockbreaker from a safe and ergonomic environment on the surface at an underground gold mine in Ontario, 2015.
LP401 FOR CULVERT CLEANING
The LP401 effectively removes sand, rock, and trash clogging 5-foot high municipal box culverts via remote-control in Phoenix Arizona, 2019. The low profile of the machine allowed for an average removal rate of 10.5 cubic yards per hour in the confined spaces.
TELEOP AND RRC FOR UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE CLEAN UP
TeleOp and Radio Remote Control (RRC) technology from Hard-Line enables operators to control machinery from remote or remote locations, ensuring safety of the workforce during a military site remediation and decommissioning project in New Mexico, 2012.
